Deputies: Man hit and killed by train in Laurel County

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Investigators hope an autopsy will help answer some questions after a man was apparently hit and killed by a train in Laurel County.

Deputies identified the victim as 38-year old Brandon North, of Lily.

They say he was reportedly hit on the railroad tracks near the intersection with KY 552 around 12:17 p.m. on Saturday.

The case is currently classified as a death investigation, according to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office.
