Man accused with shooting up occupied homes on his birthday
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A 20-year-old Lexington man has been charged with shooting up several homes, including two that were occupied, Saturday afternoon, which also happened to be his birthday.
According to arrest citations, Christopher Kirkpatrick Bell, of Rogers Road, is charged with nine counts of first- or second-degree criminal mischief and three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment in connection with the incident which happened at about 4 p.m. on Ohio Street.
He was arrested Memorial Day.
Bell is accused of shooting one house with two people in it and another house with one person in it and overall, caused more than $500 in damage to seven properties and more than $1,000 to two other properties.
The citations don’t give a reason for the shootings.
According to Fayette County Detention Center records, his bond is set at $10,000 and if he is released, he must be on electronic monitoring.
