Man accused of partially paralyzing driver in road rage attack

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man is charged with assault after a reported road rage attack in Lexington

Lexington Police say 46-year-old Christopher Wiley was arrested Tuesday. Investigators say he punched a driver on King Arthur Drive last month after the man failed to use a turn signal.

According to the reported victim, Wiley followed him, and when they both got out of their cars, Wiley punched him in the forehead.

Police say the reported victim had to get have screws put into two of his vertebrae because of a spinal injury from the assault.

Investigators say the man was partially paralyzed after the attack. They say he is in Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital in Lexington, where he will likely stay for up to a year.
