Man accused of threatening juvenile with a gun
LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – A 46-year-old Laurel County man is charged with wanton endangerment after threatening a juvenile with a gun.
According to Laurel County Sheriff John Root, Rick Smith, of Carson Lane in East Bernstadt, with wanton first-degree wanton endangerment and third-degree terroristic threats in connection with the incident which occurred on Carson Lane.
Deputies initially responded to a call of a man threatening a juvenile with a gun. When deputies arrived, the man, identified as Smith, was gone. Deputies returned later and arrested Smith, the sheriff said.
Assisting from the Sheriff’s office were Lt. Chris Edwards, Deputy Hunter Disney, Deputy Robert Reed and units from the London Police Department and the Kentucky State Police.
