Man accused of pulling gun during argument over parking spot

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A Georgia man was arrested Thursday in Laurel County after reportedly pulling a gun on a truck driver during an argument over a parking spot, according to the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators say 39-year old Cornelius Dixon, of Fayetteville, Georgia, was charged with Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree and lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

The arrest came at the Pilot Service Station off West Cumberland Gap Parkway, approximately 10-miles south of London.

Deputies say they received a call just before 2:00 a.m., that a man in a white Dodge Ram pickup truck, pulling a box trailer, reportedly pointed a gun at a truck driver in the gas station parking lot.

When deputies arrived on the scene, they say they found Dixon in the pickup and that he was carrying a .357 revolver on his hip. Deputies say they secured the gun, interviewed witnesses and then arrested Dixon.
