Man Accused Of Assaulting Lexington Officers

 A man was arrested in Lexington, accused of knocking one officer off his feet and injuring another as they tried to arrest him.

 The officers went to the Motel Six back on September 2  to make an arrest on an outstanding warrant.

 They said it appeared only two people were in the room but then an officer discovered Stephon Miller, 35, hiding behind a shower curtain in the bathroom.

 According to court documents when the officer tried to arrest Miller, there was a struggle.

 The officer said his knee and shoulder were injured.

 He said Miller broke free and rushed at another officer standing in the doorway… knocking him off his feet.

 They said Miller got away but another person in the hotel room identified him.

 Police were able to track him down and arrest him on Thursday.
