Man accused of killing toddler in Lexington pleads guilty

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – One of the men accused of killing a 2-year-old back in 2016 took a plea deal Thursday.

Adrian Dunn pleaded guilty in court Thursday. Dunn and Marquis Thurman were previously charged with murder.

In 2016, Lexington police said Dunn and Thurman went to a home on Kenton Street and confronted a man they knew over money.

Investigators say a disorder ensued and multiple shots were fired before Dunn and Thurman ran off.

Police said 2-year-old Nova Gallman, who was on the couch in the room, was shot in the head. She later died at the hospital.

Dunn’s next court appearance is scheduled for April 9.
