Man accused of almost hitting sheriff during Montgomery Co. chase

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- In Montgomery County, a chase this weekend ended with a crash.

The Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a domestic violence call in Jeffersonville and a man drove off just before they arrived.

The Sheriff’s Office say that man, Jeremy Martin, swerved and almost hit the Sheriff as he was keeping people away from the chase.

Deputies chased Martin into Menifee County before stopping the chase.

Deputies say Martin eventually wrecked then ran.

He’s now in custody, accused of fleeing and other charges.
