Man accused in 2014 Lexington murder pleads guilty
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A man accused of murder pleads guilty to a lesser charge.
According to Fayette Circuit Court, 24-year-old Allen Burgess pleaded guilty on Thursday to criminal facilitation to murder.
He was originally charged with murder for the death of 18-year-old Kierra Johnson.
Johnson was one of four women who were found shot on Scottsdale Circle in Lexington on June 30, 2014.
The others survived.
Burgess was sentenced to five years in prison.
According to Fayette Circuit Court, Burgess is scheduled to go to trial on December 10th for the other charges against him – robbery, assault and being a persistent felony offender.
