Major power outage in Anderson County

LAWRENCEBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – Schools were cancelled in Anderson County due to a major power outage in that county.

Kentucky Utilities says the power outage, which stated Wednesday morning, is impacting about 6,000 customers, mostly in Lawrenceburg.

According to the Anderson County School District, several schools are without power.

Kentucky Utilities has restored power to most of the customers.
