Major meth bust in Knox Co. nets 3 arrests
FLAT LICK, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Knox County Sheriff says a search warrant on a Flat Lick home netted one of the largest amounts of crystal meth ever seized in the county.

The Sheriff says the search warrant was executed at about 3:45 a.m. at a home on Evergreen Road.
During the search, the Sheriff says officials seized about one and one-half pounds of methamphetamine, about 7 grams of heroin, as well as 2 firearms and over $700.oo in cash. The street value of the methamphetamine alone is estimated to be about $38,000.00, according to investigators.

3 people at the home were arrested, 45-year-old Henry Matt Smith, 30-year-old Chasity J. Roop, and 49-year-old Jimmy A. Davis. All were charged with trafficking in a controlled substance. Since all three are convicted felons, they were also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The three were sent to the Knox County Detention Center.
