Maier named Clark County judge, area residents named to boards

​​​​​​​FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – Gov. Andy Beshear has made the following appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions:

— Appointed the Honorable Cole Adams Maier, Winchester, to the office of Circuit Judge for the 25th Judicial Circuit, Division 2, of Kentucky.

— Appointed Yvette Gentry as a member of the Personnel Board.

  • Yvette Gentry of Louisville is a project director at Metro United Way and the Executive Director of the Rajon Rondo Foundation. She replaces Demetrius Holloway, who has resigned. Ms. Gentry will serve the remainder of the unexpired term ending Jan. 1, 2024.

— Appointed Nicole Yates as a member of the Board of Directors of the Louisville Arena Authority, Inc.

  • Nicole Yates is the Associate Vice President of Community Engagement for Molina Healthcare. She replaces Timothy Mulloy, who has resigned. Ms. Yates shall serve for a term expiring Jan. 9, 2023.

— Appointed Alan Lossner, Joe Ellis, Patsy Oliver and Bruce Brockenborough as members of the Madisonville Community & Technical College Board of Directors. Gov. Beshear has also reappointed Robert Brooks.

  • Alan Lossner of Slaughters is a retired school administrator. He replaces Bonita Hatfield, whose term has expired. Mr. Lossner shall serve for a term expiring November 22, 2023.
  • Joe Ellis of Benton is an optometrist at Clarkson Eyecare. He replaces Cheryl Moore, whose term has expired. Dr. Ellis shall serve for a term expiring November 22, 2023.
  • Patsy Oliver of Princeton is a retired school administrator. She replaces Michael Farris, whose term has expired. Ms. Oliver shall serve for a term expiring June 30, 2025.
  • Bruce Brockenborough of Paducah is the President of Hannan Supply. He replaces Christopher Nottsinger, whose term has expired. Mr. Brockenborough shall serve for a term expiring December 6, 2025.
  • Robert Brooks of Hanson is a retired healthcare executive. He shall serve for a term expiring December 6, 2025.

— Appointed Danny Percell as a member of the State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors.

  • Danny Percell of Elizabethtown is a mortician and owner of Percell & Sons Funeral Home. He replaces Roth Mason, whose term has expired. Mr. Percell shall serve for a term expiring May 31, 2024.

— Appointed Leslie Bays, Ruthann Daniel-Harteis, Winter Renfrow and Susan Clary as members of the Statewide Independent Living Council. Gov. Beshear has also reappointed Darrell Mattingly and Sharri Anderson.

  • Leslie Bays of Prestonsburg is the Director of Disability Support Services at Big Sandy Community & Technical College. She replaces Carl Schneider, whose term has expired. Ms. Bays shall serve for a term expiring May 20, 2023.
  • Ruthann Daniel-Harteis of Jeffersonville is the Director of Disability Support Services at Bluegrass Community & Technical College. She replaces Kelvin Fugate, whose term has expired. Ms. Daniel-Harteis shall serve for a term expiring May 20, 2023.
  • Winter Renfrow of Owensboro is a volunteer. She replaces William Howard, whose term has expired. Ms. Renfrow shall serve for a term expiring May 20, 2024.
  • Susan Clary of Lexington is a retired attorney. She replaces Lukas Saint-Clair, whose term has expired. Ms. Clary shall serve for a term expiring May 20, 2024.
  • Darrell Mattingly of Lexington is a web developer for the University of Kentucky. He shall serve for a term expiring May 20, 2024.
  • Sharri Anderson of Louisville is a social worker at the Charles W. McDowell Center for the Blind. She shall serve for a term expiring May 20, 2024.

— Appointed Shaela Worsley, Jansen Hammock, Isaac Owen and Donna Pollard to the Juvenile Justice Advisory Board.

  • Shaela Worsley of Richmond is a student. She replaces Cameron Galloway, whose term has expired. Ms. Worsley shall serve for a term expiring Sept. 15, 2024.
  • Jansen Hammock of London is a student. He replaces Alexys Bardonaro, whose term has expired. Mr. Hammock shall serve for a term expiring Sept. 15, 2024.
  • Isaac Owen of Louisville is a student. He replaces Justin Christman, whose term has expired. Mr. Owen shall serve for a term expiring Sept. 15, 2024.
  • Donna Pollard of Fairdale is the founder of Survivors’ Corner. She shall serve for a term expiring Sept. 15, 2023.

— Appointed Marlene McKinley and Scott Pettinichi as members of the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care.

  • Marlene McKinley of Cynthiana is the manager of respiratory care at St. Joseph Hospital. She replaces Timothy Roark, whose term has expired. Ms. McKinley shall serve for a term expiring Oct. 30, 2023.
  • Scott Pettinichi of Louisville is a respiratory therapist at Norton Children’s Hospital. He replaces William Garrison, whose term has expired. Mr. Pettinichi shall serve for a term expiring Oct. 30, 2023.

— Appointed Jennifer Pollard as a member of the Kentucky Applied Behavior Analysis Licensing Board.

  • Jennifer Pollard of Prospect is a self-employed behavior analyst. She replaces Jennifer Salvina, whose term has expired. Ms. Pollard shall serve for a term expiring Oct. 1, 2023.

— Appointed John Ridley, Tommy Adams and GeMonee Brown as members of the Judicial Nominating Commission for the 8th Judicial Circuit and District of Kentucky. Gov. Beshear has also reappointed Larkin Ritter.

  • John Ridley of Bowling Green is an investment officer and managing director at Wells Fargo Advisors. He replaces Kim Dobler whose term has expired. Mr. Ridley shall serve for a term expiring Jan. 1, 2024.
  • Tommy Adams of Bowling Green is an insurance agent at Charles M. Moore Insurance Agency. He replaces Travis Russell, whose term has expired. Mr. Adams shall serve for a term expiring Jan. 1, 2024.
  • GeMonee Brown of Bowling Green is a real estate agent and investor at Crye-Leike Executive Realty. He replaces Gracie Hunt, whose term has expired. Mr. Brown shall serve for a term expiring Jan. 1, 2022.
  • Larkin Ritter of Bowling Green is a contractor and developer at Scott & Ritter, Inc. He shall serve for a term expiring Jan. 1, 2022.

— Appointed Sajida Suleman as a member of the Kentucky Eating Disorder Council.

  • Sajida Suleman of Prospect is an adult psychiatrist at the VA. Dr. Suleman shall serve for a term expiring May 26, 2023.
