Madisonville woman killed in head-on crash

MADISONVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police say a Madisonville woman was killed in a head-on collision on US 41 in Madisonville on Friday afternoon.

Investigators say a car driven by 28-year old Whitney Pinkerton, collided head-on with a car driven by 73-year old John Jenkins, of Morganfield.

Investigators say Pinkerton died at Baptist Health Hospital in Madisonville.

John Jenkins was airlifted to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana to be treated for his injuries, according to KSP.

Jenkins’ wife, Peggy Jenkins, who was a passenger in the car, was treated at Baptist Health Hospital in Madisonville.
