Madison Central High School Band performs at Macy’s Parade

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Madison Central High School band took New York by storm at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The 275 member band has been preparing for over a year and a half, the band director David Jaggie told the Richmond Register.

The Register reports its the first time for Madison Central to represent Kentucky in the parade and only the sixth or seventh time a band from Kentucky has been selected for the parade.

The band will be walked a two and a half mile route.
