Luncheon kicks off Woodford Humane Society’s ‘Freedom Fest’ fundraiser

VERSAILLES, Ky. (WTVQ)- Animal lovers had a chance to enjoy great weather and delicious food from local restaurants and caterers today in Versailles. The annual ‘Bone Appetit’ luncheon was held at Ashford Stud. It’s a fundraiser for the Woodford Humane Society.

The luncheon also previews WHS’s big ‘Freedom Fest’ event. It’s the non-profit humane society’s largest fundraiser of the year. Freedom Fest will be held tomorrow night from 5:30- 10:30 at Ashford Stud.

Organizers say guests will enjoy a buffet dinner under a tent, live and silent auctions, viewing of special designer horse stalls, and live music by The Distraxions. Click here for Freedom Fest ticket information.
