Luke Bryan concert traffic concerns

LEXINGTON, Ky, (WTVQ) – Lexington police are telling Luke Bryan fans to have patience.

The country superstar is bringing his “Luke Bryan Farm Tour” to Talon Winery on Thursday October 1st.

Talon Winery is located in rural Fayette County at 7086 Tates Creek Road, which is a two-lane country road that will be packed with an anticipated 20,000 concert-goers.

Gates will open for parking at 2:00 p.m. Police say cars will not be allowed on the property before that time and cars will not be allowed to wait in line along Tates Creek Road in order to enter the property at 2:00 p.m.

Police tell fans to plan on heavy traffic and allow time to arrive at Talon well in advance of the show.

Officers will be controlling the traffic signals from Man O’ War and Tates Creek Road out to the winery. Officers will be out on foot directing traffic at the entrance to the winery to assist with parking and traffic congestion.

After the concert, exiting traffic will be directed inbound Tates Creek Road, and again, officers will be controlling the traffic signals from the winery inbound to New Circle Road to assist with traffic flow.
