Lt. Governor presents $3.2M in funding for Town Branch Commons

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lieutenant Governor Crit LuAllen presented a ceremonial check to Mayor Jim Gray Monday for $3.2 million dollars to advance Town Branch Commons.

The urban trail project will connect downtown Lexington with area neighborhoods, parks, and historic sites.  The Lieutenant Governor presented the check during an event at Lexington’s Thoroughbred Park.

Mayor Jim Gray said, “Town Branch Commons is a path to economic development, community vitality and healthy outdoor activity,” adding that the project “…will redefine our future, improving our quality of life and growing economic vitality.”
