LPD: Woman under the influence with child in car
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say they found a woman under the influence, passed out in a running car with her six-year old daughter in the back seat.
Police say it happened around 4:30 p.m. on Monday on Wickliffe and Spruce streets.
According to the arrest citation, 32-year old Ashley Hamm, of Lexington, admitted to police she had used heroin an hour and a half before being found.
She was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence and endangering the welfare of a minor, according to the arrest citation.
Police say the little girl was picked up by her father.
Hamm was lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.
