LPD: Woman fires gun after having nightmare

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say a woman claims a nightmare led her to fire a gun in a Lexington home.

21-year-old Marionisha White was taken into custody and charged with wanton endangerment on Tuesday.

Court documents say White called her husband and told him she woke up from a nightmare, believing someone was in the house.

Documents say White grabbed a handgun, thinking it was empty, and it went off.

The bullet went into a home next door, where a woman and her three children were sleeping.

No one was hurt.
