LPD: Two teens escape injury after being shot at in van

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say a van with two teenage boys inside was shot numerous times in the parking lot of a convenience store on Winburn Drive.

Investigators say it happened around 5:45 p.m. Tuesday in the parking lot of the Stop-N-Shop Discount Foods in the 1100 block of Winburn Drive.

Police say the two teens weren’t hit.  They also say the two would not cooperate with investigators.

Shell casings were found on the ground in the parking lot, according to police.
