LPD: Two men arrested at Parkside Apartments

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police have arrested two men after they say the men used air soft guns to shoot at children and damaged lights at Parkside Apartments.

Police say the two men arrested are 18-year-old David Hawkins, and 19-year-old Dayquise Canada.

According to Lexington Police, residents made a complaint about the two men using air soft guns to shoot at children at the complex.

Police say the apartment manager reviewed surveillance cameras and observed the men holding air soft guns, shooting people and the lights on the property.

Police say the children that were shot at didn’t suffer any injuries.

Both Hawkins and Canada are charged with wanton endangerment and criminal mischief, and will appear in court on those charges today.
