LPD: Three crashes overnight, Two men arrested

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say they responded to three crashes overnight and arrested two men, one for assault, and one for DUI.

According to Lexington Police, they received a call around midnight that a vehicle was traveling outbound on South Limestone Street when it collided with another vehicle crossing that street, causing it to roll over.

Police say both drivers suffered minor injuries.

They say South Limestone Street was closed for about an hour while they cleared the scene.

Shortly after, Lexington Police say they received a call at 1:20 a.m. about a vehicle that hit a pole on Bold Bidder Drive, after a domestic dispute between a man and woman in the car.

Police say the man ran from the scene but was later arrested and charged with assault, fleeing the scene of an accident, and unauthorized use.

Then, Lexington Police say they got a call at 2:30 a.m. about a single vehicle crash on Richmond Road at Patchen Drive.

Police say the man was arrested for DUI, but didn’t suffer any injuries.
