LPD: Thief leaves behind cigarettes he stole and his own wallet
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A bad night for a thief in Lexington.
Police say a man walked into the Shell Station on West New Circle Road just after 11 p.m. Monday, grabbed a pack of cigarettes without paying and left.
He was confronted outside by an employee and he threatened her with a knife, according to police.
There was a brief struggle and the thief ran off, but not before dropping the cigarettes he stole and his wallet with his identification inside.
