LPD: Teen shot with pellet gun during robbery

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A pellet gun was the weapon of choice for a suspect in a robbery in Lexington Thursday.

Police say a juvenile was with three other people, when they tried to rob him outside of his home on Brynell Drive at around 12:15 a.m.

When he told them he didn’t have anything, police say one of the the suspects pulled a gun, forced the teen into his bedroom and took items.

Police say the suspect then shot the teen three times in the arm with the pellet gun and ran off.

The victim was taken to the hospital to be checked out but was not seriously hurt.
