Accused killer arrested in Lexington following chase

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say a murder suspect wanted out of Detroit was arrested Wednesday morning in Lexington.

Lexington Police spokeswoman Brenna Angel says police and U.S. Marshals where pursuing the suspect around 10:50 a.m. when the car he was in crashed on Tates Creek and Albany.

The suspect, Oscar Johnson, got out of the car and ran but was quickly captured, according to Angel.

Johnson, along with the other people in the car, were arrested.

Angel says Johnson is a suspect in two homicides in Detroit.
