LPD searching for suspects after shots fired

Lexington, Ky. (WTVQ) — The Lexington Police Department is searching for two suspects after a report of shots fired.

According to police, around 8:10 Sunday morning, officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Darley Drive for a shots fired call.

Upon arrival, police found empty shell casings, but no injuries.

Witnesses told LPD they saw two men flee the scene in a dark-colored pickup truck with mud tires.

The investigation is still ongoing.
