LPD: Robber takes cash and beer

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say a man got away with money and beer in an early-morning robbery in Lexington.
Police say it was around 12:45 a.m. when a man walked into the Shell Station on West New Circle Road and went back to the beer cooler.
They say the man walked up to the counter with some beer and when the clerk asked for his identification, he pulled a gun and demanded money from the register.
He took off with the cash and the beer.
