LPD releases image of accused bank robber

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police on Tuesday released a security camera image of a man accused of robbing a Central Bank branch on West New Circle Road.

Investigators say the masked man walked into the bank Monday morning and demanded money with a handgun.

After getting the cash, the man took off in a vehicle that crashed into a business behind the bank, according to police.

Investigators say the robber ran from the accident scene toward the Hollow Creek area.  As of this writing, he still had not been found.
