LPD: Pedestrian hit by car overnight expected to be okay

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say a pedestrian who was hit by a car early Sunday morning is expected to be okay.

Investigators say the person was walking along Alexandria Drive around 1:00 a.m., when they were hit by a car whose driver had lost control.  Police say the car ended up in a ditch. 

Police say the pedestrian was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
