LPD: One van, two hit-and-runs; search on for driver

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police are looking for the driver of a van they say was involved in two hit-and-run accidents in the same parking lot, moments apart Wednesday afternoon.

Police say the van was involved in a minor collision in a Taco Bell parking lot on Versailles Road around 4:00 p.m.

They say the van’s driver didn’t want to stick around after the collision, but as he pulled away, he hit a pedestrian in the same parking lot and drove off.

Police say no one was seriously hurt.

Investigators say a witness did the van’s license plate number, which police hope will help them track down the van and its driver.
