LPD: one injured in USPS mail truck collision

LEXINGTON, Ky. WTVQ) – According to police, a post office mail truck was involved in a collision at Andover Village Drive and Todds Road on Thursday.

The post office employee has “significant injuries”, after police say he was thrown into the windshield during the crash.  

US Postal Police say they will be doing a reconstruction shortly, and are working to collect the mail that was thrown from the vehicle.

Investigation into the incident is ongoing.
