LPD: No answers after man found cut, bloodied

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police aren’t exactly sure what to make of an late-night call on Race Street.

They responded to the 200-block just before 11:45 p.m. Tuesday and found a man running around yelling, cut and bloodied. At first they thought he had been stabbed then they noticed a broken window with shards of glass all around.

They say the man was highly intoxicated, refusing to answer questions, and told them he did not want to go to the hospital. Police say they finally convinced him to go to get stitched up.

They say they are still investigating.
