LPD: Man indicted for murder of missing man

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police are searching for a suspect and a body, as a missing person’s case becomes a homicide investigation.

According to police, 35-year-old Peter Lian was reported missing from N. Mount Tabor Road on February 19, 2018.

Police say during the investigation, detectives determined Lian was dead as the result of an altercation with 45-year-old Willow Bruce Cherry.

Lian’s body has not been found.

Police say they are looking for Cherry, who was indicted for murder by a grand jury Tuesday.
