LPD: Man charged after holding woman at knife point

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police have arrested a man, after they say he held a woman at knife point and threatened to kill her.

Police say the man arrested is 47-year-old William Kitchen.

According to Lexington Police, they responded back in November to Carlisle Avenue to meet with the woman, who said Kitchen came to her home and demanded her to let him inside.

Police say Kitchen entered the home and put a knife to the woman’s throat threatening to kill her.

They say the woman says she’s known Kitchen for approximately two years, and he was possibly looking for one of her two brothers.

Kitchen is charged with terroristic threatening, and wanton endangerment.

Kitchen is also charged with robbery, after police say he stole money from a woman buying gas at a gas station on New Circle Road yesterday, which led to his arrest.

He is scheduled to appear on court on those charges today.
