LPD: Lottery tickets among items taken in gas station burglaries

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lexington Police Department says an arrest has been made in the theft of more than $4,000 in lottery tickets.

According to police, on April 16 and April 23, someone broke into a Lexington gas station and stole several rolls of scratch-off lottery tickets.

In both burglaries, police say the suspect can be seen on video surveillance breaking glass out of the front door and entering the store.

After stealing the items from the store, the suspect ran out of the front door.

Police say detectives from the Commercial Crimes Unit were able to identify 42-year-old Jeremy John Jarman as the suspect.

He is charged with burglary.

Detectives say Jarman may face additional charges.
