LPD: Juveniles wave BB Gun in Kroger parking lot, police chase followed

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A scary and dangerous situation developed Friday night in a busy Kroger parking lot on Richmond Road, according to Lexington Police.

Investigators say three juveniles were waving a gun around in the parking lot around 8:00 p.m.

The weapon turned out to be a BB Gun, but police say it looked like a real gun.

Police say when they arrived on the scene, the juveniles took off running and a chase began.

One juvenile was caught across the street at an apartment complex. As of this writing, the other two juveniles were still on the run. No names were released because of the suspects ages.

Police say they’re trying to determine if this incident is connected to the front door glass being shot out by a BB Gun at a home on Mount Tabor Road Friday evening.
