LPD: Driver holding a beer at crash scene when officers arrived

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say when officers arrived at the scene of a car crash Thursday night, the driver was lying in a yard holding a beer.

Police say this happened on Robertson Street.

Investigators say the driver hit a pole. He wasn’t injured. Damage to the pole was minor.

It wasn’t immediately known if the driver was going to be charged.
