LPD: Dog bites officer during traffic stop

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say they responded just after 1:30 a.m. Friday morning to Martin Luther King Drive and Maxwell Street, in reference to an officer being bit by a dog during a traffic stop.

According to Lexington Police, the officer conducted a traffic stop when he was bitten by a dog inside the vehicle.

They say the officer suffered minor injuries and will be okay.
