LPD: Call about hostage leads to two arrests

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police made two arrests after responding to a call about a teenager possibly being held against her will at a Lexington motel.

The Lexington Police Department says officers were called to the Motel 6 on Newtown Court around 10 a.m. Wednesday about a teenager being held hostage.

After they arrived, police say they saw two men driving off. Police say they chased the men and took them into custody.

According to officers, the men were not arrested on charges related to the original call.

Police say they could not find the teenager.
