Louisville man gets 9 years in teen’s death
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — A Louisville man has been sentenced to nine years in prison for the shooting death of a teenager.
Jefferson Circuit Court Judge Mary Shaw followed the jury’s recommendation and sentenced 23-year-old Antonio McFarland on Monday for reckless homicide and wanton endangerment. McFarland was convicted on Saturday of killing 15-year-old Ty’Sha Spearman.
The Courier-Journal reported (http://cjky.it/1t8akGN ) that because McFarland has already served two years in jail, he is automatically eligible for parole and will face the parole board within 60 days.

Two other people were previously convicted of wanton endangerment and received between 18 months and two years in prison.
