Louisville man charged with human trafficking

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ)- Attorney General Andy Beshear’s Office and LMPD’s Special Victims Unit led the arrest of a Louisville man for human trafficking.

51 year-old Nigel Karl Nicholas was arrested and charged with two counts of human trafficking with the victim being under 18.

He has also been charged with one count of promoting prostitution with two or more adult prostitues.

Nicholas’ arrest is in connection with the search of a Louisville home on February 13.

That investigation led to the arrest of a 22 year-old Louisville woman who is charged with two counts of human trafficking with both victims being under 18 years-old in addition to other felony charges.
