Louisa Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Young Girl

Investigators said on June 7, 2014, State Police received a call reporting Harold K. Shannon, 66, of Louisa, had sexually explicit images of a 14-year old girl.

State Police said it was determined during the course of the investigation that Shannon had reportedly engaged in oral sex with the girl and had several images depicting sexual performance involving the juvenile.

Shannon was arrested on June 12, 2014 and lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center.

To protect the girl’s identity, investigators did not release specific details on the relationship.
