London man arrested for animal cruelty

LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ)-32-year old Jessie Jones, of London, was arrested Tuesday and charged with cruelty to animals.

Laurel County Sheriff’s deputies say they received an animal neglect call on Keavy Road.  Deputies say when they arrived, they found two dogs tied outside a camper with no food or water.

Investigators say the dogs appeared malnourished and in poor health.

Animal control took possession of the dogs.
