Local option vote set in Marshall County

BENTON, Ky. (AP) — Marshall County Judge-Executive Chyrill Miller has set a vote for July on the question of whether to allow the sale of alcoholic beverages in the western Kentucky county.

Miller’s office said petitions have been signed by a sufficient number of qualified voters to put the issue to a vote.

Miller set the election for July 28.
