Lincoln County shooting victim recovering

CRAB ORCHARD, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says a man who was shot at a Crab Orchard home on Wednesday is continuing to recover.

According to deputies, two men and a woman got into a fight at the home at 6940 Highway 39, and one of the men was shot.

Deputies say the victim ran from the home and collapsed on the side of the road, where a passer-by found him.

He was flown to the University of Kentucky hospital.

Deputies say he is in stable condition.

They say the man who shot him was still at the scene when deputies arrived.

No charges have been filed yet.
