Lexmark: 500 positions to be eliminated worldwide
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexmark says it plans to lay off 500 workers worldwide over the next 18 months as it goes through a restructuring process.
A release from the company says general and administrative jobs, marketing and development positions as well as the consolidation of regional facilities will be most affected by the restructuring. A Lexmark representative says the impact here in Lexington is expected to be "nominal."
