LexLive entertainment center plans March 11 opening

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ/Press Release) – With 90,000 square feet of entertainment and food and drinks, LexLive is planning its long-awaited opening March 11.

The downtown event and entertainment venue includes three full-service bars and an array of entertainment options, including luxury movie theatres, state-of-the-art bowling, interactive video games and a prize store.

LexLive is owned by Krikorian Premiere Theatres, a California-based company.

“The grand opening of LexLive brings an elevated level of excitement to the evolution of our entertainment and dining offerings in Lexington. We are excited to see this project become a reality. It has been a true community effort that will establish a new gathering spot for our new Lexington neighbors,” said George Krikorian, president of Krikorian Premiere Theatres.

LexLive will showcase 10 luxury theatres including heated, reclining seating, laser projectors and several auditoriums will feature state-of-the-art Dolby Atmos sound systems. The LFX (Large Format Experience) auditorium features an 80-foot-wide screen, making it the largest screen in the state of Kentucky.

In addition to showing all blockbuster and first run movies, the LFX will also showcase live premium sporting and entertainment events from around the world. These include world championship sporting events, live concerts, plays, operas and other special simulcast events.

The Game Day Sports Bar, with seating for almost 500, will offer a from-scratch menu and will feature a variety of options, including shareable appetizers, street tacos, handcrafted burgers, hearty salads, fresh-baked pizzas, mouthwatering sandwiches and rotating seasonal offerings.

LexLive’s three bars, including the Corner Bar and Cinema Bar, will serve specialty cocktails; an expansive bourbon, whiskey and scotch selection; 18 draft beers, including those from local breweries; and a vast selection of premium wines.

The almost 10,000-square-foot Game Day Sports Bar, with 24-foot ceiling height, features multiple 20-foot-wide DESB’s (Digital Electronic Screening Boards), plus more than 50 additional HD screens for your viewing pleasure!

Rounding out the entertainment, LexLive has include 13 state-of-the-art Brunswick bowling lanes, including a 4-lane VIP section, nearly 50 interactive sports, action and prize games and sports viewing on larger-than-life projection screens at the lanes and 4K TVs throughout the venue.

Additionally, sports fans can catch the action on one of several 16-foot x 10-foot video walls. LexLive will also periodically offer sports viewing for premium events. 

LexLive will adhere to all state and local Covid-19 guidelines.

Located at 301 S. Broadway, conveniently across from Rupp Arena and the soon-to-be completely renovated Convention Center, LexLive will have something for the entire family in the heart of downtown Lexington.

At full capacity, LexLive will employ more than 200 workers. Parking is available in the six-level secure parking garage adjacent to the venue.
