Lexington’s flu numbers continue to rise

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington now has 346 confirmed flu cases, up 43 from a week ago, according to the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department.

There have been two flu-related deaths in the city this flu season.

Health department officials say about 80-percent of the confirmed cases had not received a flu shot this season.
