Lexington robberies could be related

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police are trying to determine if two Lexington robberies are related.

They were called to the Shell Station on West New Circle Road at 11:10 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say a man wearing a black hoodie, wearing a red ski mask and carrying a gun demanded money from the clerk.

The clerk tells police the suspect got into a car, with a another person driving, and took off.

Then, at around 1:17 a.m. Wednesday, police say a man came into the Speedway on Paris Pike, wearing a black hoodie with a red bandanna covering his face.

He also had a gun and demanded money.

The clerk tells police the suspect ran off but did not appear to get into a car.
