Lexington road crews treating connector streets

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington city officials say road crews have been treating roads since 5 a.m. Friday.

According to Susan Straub, with the city, all of the main roads have been treated. Crews are now focusing on neighborhood connector streets.

Winter weather has caused several accidents. Since midnight, Straub says there was one injury in a crash, five non-injury accidents and five calls for Motorist Assist.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says road crews began treating roads at midnight Thursday.
